Join Bay Nature Magazine and expert birder and artist Clay Anderson for a virtual talk about birding by ear on March 26, from 12 - 1pm. This will be a fun, informal class where attendees will learn how to “ear bird” with Clay. During this virtual session we will go over some different ways to learn bird calls / songs over Zoom. This virtual event is free for Bay Nature members, $5 for nonmembers.
About the speaker: Clayton Anderson is a self taught naturalist and artist (BA drawing and painting) who leads nature experiences for a number of organizations. He is a contributing naturalist at the Merritt College, Natural History & Sustainability Program, and Eco-Ed program coordinator for Golden Gate Bird Alliance. He likes spending his free time visiting wildlife refuges and eating Indian tacos.
PS: Bay Nature will also hold a separate in-person event to practice these skills in person on April 5 (click here to register for the in-person event).
