Birds of Limantour
Wednesday, November 13, 2019, 10am – 2pm

Every year a multitude of birds move through the outer areas of the county while on fall migration. We'll explore the estuary, beach, and open water looking for birds that stop here as they migrate from their northern breeding grounds to their winter homes in the south. Remember to bring binoculars.

Rain may cancel. If questionable weather, call (415) 893-9527 after 8am on the day of the event to hear a recorded message if cancelled. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend.

No registration is required.

This walk is for 18 and up.

Location Point Reyes National Seashore. Meet at the Limantour Beach parking area.

Directions From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west 20.4 miles to Olema. Turn right onto Hwy 1. Go 500 feet, turn left onto Bear Valley Rd go 0.5 miles, turn left onto Limantour Rd, 7.5 miles to parking area.
