Coastal Cleanup Day: Tomales Bay

Do you love oysters? Do you love volunteering for the greater good? This is your event! This coastal cleanup day event is sponsored by some amazing organizations in Point Reyes. It will fill up, so if you are interested, register quickly!

Volunteer opportunities include Tomales Bay boat-in and various roadside clean up efforts along the watershed. Volunteers will help collect debris with the help of boat captains or roadside coordinators, and record their findings for the California Clean Up efforts. We will end our day with a volunteer appreciation BBQ at Marconi Historic State Park & Conference Center.

The event is coordinated by Hog Island Oyster Co.Marconi State Historic Park & Conference CenterEnvironmental Action Committee of West Marin, and in partnership with Marin County Coastal Clean Up Efforts, Marin Oyster Co., Tomales Bay Oyster Co., Pacific Shellfish Growers AssociationPoint Reyes National Seashore/NPSPoint Reyes National Seashore Association, and Tomales Bay Sailing who provide captains and vessels, or roadside clean up coordination.
