Marin County Parks: Birds of Limantour

Birds of Limantour

Tuesday, December 14, 2021, 10am – 2pm

Every year a multitude of birds overwinter in the outer areas of the county and this is one of the best places to see a variety of them. We'll explore the estuary, beach, and bay looking for birds along the lagoon, foraging with the tide, and out on the open water. This walk is offered in partnership with Point Reyes National Seashore.

Remember to bring a lunch and binoculars if you have them. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend.

Adverse weather or Air Quality Index (AQI) that exceeds 150 on AirNow.gov may cancel events. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 after 8 am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if canceled.

Registration is not required. For more information contact, Shannon Burke at SBurke@marincounty.org.
