Restore salmon habitat at Roy's Riffles

Saturdays, Dec 3, 10, 17 10:00am to 2:00pm

Clubhouse, 5800 Sir Francis Drake Blvd
San Geronimo, CA 94963 United States

Help SPAWN at Roy’s Riffles restoration site along San Geronimo Creek, one of the most important habitats left for critically endangered Coho salmon on the central California coast!

The focus will be planting and removing invasive plants at our Roy’s Riffles restoration site.  Trees, shrubs, perennials, sedges, rushes, and grasses will be planted at the site.

The event will run from 10 AM to 2 PM. Volunteers are encouraged to bring water, sun/rain protection, and wear work clothes and close-toed shoes that have good traction. Meet across the street from 485 San Geronimo Valley Drive in San Geronimo. Parking is available through the gate.

To RSVP, please contact audrey@tirn.net.

The Salmon Protection And Watershed Network (SPAWN) was initiated as part of Turtle Island Restoration Network in 1997. Each year, we engage hundreds of people to see and learn about critically endangered salmon, restore watershed habitat, raise native redwood trees, and study salmon health.
