West Marin Workday CANCELED
Sunday, May 22, 2022, 10am – 12pm
Work together to restore our West Marin wetlands by removing teasel at Whitehouse Pool. This invasive plant can reach 7-feet tall and push out native wetland species. Weed wrenches and gloves provided.
Volunteer work is mildly strenuous and involves bending, pulling, and kneeling. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. Please dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Remember to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, a lunch, and a hat. Adverse weather may cancel. Check the calendar on the day of the event to see if it is canceled.

Whitehouse Pool is located at 12349 Sir Francis Drake Blvd, Inverness, CA.
From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the Sir Francis Drake exit 20.4 miles to Olema. Turn right onto Hwy 1 and go 2 miles. Turn left before the green bridge (continuing on Sir Francis Drake Blvd) and follow 0.7 miles. Look for the White House Pool sign on the right.
