Kent Island Restoration Project
Saturday, July 16, 2022, 10am – 2pm
Be a part of the team working to restore the unique ecosystem in Bolinas Lagoon! Learn the value of protecting this little oasis and how to identify and remove the invasive species that threaten it. Participation requires a short rowboat ride to the island. All skill levels are welcome, and no previous experience is necessary.
Please dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Remember to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat. Volunteer work is mildly strenuous and involves bending, pulling, and kneeling. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend.
Adverse weather or may cancel. Check the calendar on the morning of the event to see if it is canceled.
Registration is required. For more information, contact Volunteer Coordinator Greg at GReza@marincounty.org
