Join the Environmental Action Committee of West Marin (EAC) Team for a beach clean up at Drakes Beach in honor of World Oceans Day, Plastic Free July and the launch of a Cleaner California Coast Campaign.
WHERE TO MEET: Drakes Beach Parking Lot
TIME: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
WHAT TO WEAR: Dress in layers, wear sunscreen, bring a hat, water bottle, and snacks.
EAC will provide all the trash collection gear you will need to collect and protect yourself during the clean up. Participants will need to sign a waiver and will be assigned into small teams. Following the clean up, our team will sort and count the collected trash and bring back items to our office in Point Reyes for the launch of our Climate Change exhibit on July 29th.
