The Tomales Bay Foundation is proud to present the 8th State of Tomales Bay Conference. Eventbrite registration opens September 1. See www.tomalesbayfoundation.org for the agenda and details.
The conference program includes lunch and will end with a social hour. Speakers will address Conservation Challenges with a Changing Climate. Sessions during the day will include a keynote by ACR’s fire ecologist Sasha Berleman and presentations on Tomales Bay aquatic biology, hydrology, birds and butterflies. Speakers will include Marin’s plan in response to sea level rise, and student researchers. The afternoon panel session features presentations on agricultural carbon farming, oyster farming, tourism, forest planning, fire hazard management, and the TBF’s restoration project at Chicken Ranch Beach. Finally, Supervisor Rodoni will present a summary of the day.
