Join online for a Bay Nature Talk on Tuesday, December 17 from 12 – 1pm with former National Park Service wildlife biologist Matt Lau. This talk will highlight the Point Reyes snowy plover populations, their ecology and natural history, as well as conservation efforts focusing on this species, and the ongoing saga to protect them from predators and bolster their populations. This talk is inspired by this Bay Nature piece, by Sarah Killingsworth published in September 2024 featuring Matt and his work with the plovers.
December 17, 12 – 1pm via Zoom. Free for Bay Nature members, $5 for nonmembers.
