Volunteer Workday at Drakes Beach

On Saturday, June 1st, Point Reyes National Seashore and Point Reyes National Seashore Association will be partnering together to host a volunteer workday between 11am to 1pm in celebration of National Trails Day. We will be completing much needed maintenance on the pathways at Drake’s Beach that connect the parking lot to the beach to ensure safe access for the public, particularly when using the park’s beach wheelchairs. Please wear close-toed shoes and bring plenty of water and a snack.

Drop-ins welcome! All volunteers must sign in before participating.

Meeting location: Drakes Beach at Point Reyes National Seashore.  

Meeting time: 11:00am – 1:00pm

Requirements

  • Volunteers under the age of 18 need parent/guardian supervision. 

  • Volunteers under the age of 18 must bring their completed Volunteer Agreement Form with the parent/guardian approval section signed. 

  • Wear clothes that can get dirty. Bring layers for changing weather and rain gear if necessary. 

  • Bring a water bottle and sunscreen.

  • No experience necessary. 

  • Training and tools will be provided.
