There are many ingenious creatures that have devised ways to trick plants into growing structures, called galls, which shelter and feed them. We’ll examine an amazing array of bizarre and beautiful galls as we learn the incredible life cycles of the gall makers. Total miles: 2. Elevation change: 275'. We'll be off trail, walking in grass for a short time. Remember to bring lunch, and binoculars if you have them. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed. Be sure to check the calendar two hours before the event to confirm the status. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel.

Registration is required.
