Banana Cake

4 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
2/3 tsp salt

Mix dry ingredients together in one bowl.

Then,

1 cup butter (2 sticks)
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
6 bananas, very ripe (mashed up ahead of time)
2 tsp vanilla (I added more)
2 tsp lemon juice (I used limoncello!)
5 *tablespoons* milk

Cream together shortening, eggs, vanilla, milk, lemon juice and add the
mashed bananas. Then fold the two bowls into each other.

Then, the usual - 2 cake pans greased & floured, 350 degrees, 20 to 25
minutes or until done....ice as you see fit - voila! Banana cake.
