Cucumber Salad
3 cups thinly sliced, peeled and seeded cucumbers, preferably the long ''gourmet'' cucumbers
Salt
1 cup thinly sliced onion
1 tablespoon minced fresh dill
1/2 cup white wine vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
Freshly ground black pepper.
1. Place cucumbers in a large bowl. Sprinkle with salt and allow to sit for 30 minutes. Rinse and drain well. 2. Combine cucumbers and remaining ingredients and allow to marinate several hours before serving.
