Shrinking Violet Cocktail

1 oz. (or to taste) Creme de Violette liqueur (used Pages Parfait Amour)
Sparkling wine (used LaMarca Prosecco)

Pour Creme de Violette liqueur in a champagne glass and fill with sparkling wine. Vary the amount of Creme de Violette to taste. The color is a beautiful amethyst purple.

Garnish with a rim of lemon sugar to counter the sweetness of the drink or a rim of purple sugar if you like it sweet. For a charming touch, rest a violet on the rim.
